Trans* Book Night – Book Club and Literature Discussion Night

The Queer Book Club Göttingen is inviting everyone for a special edition! For this year’s Kulturtage, we will have an extra meeting that is all about celebrating trans* literature and gender diversity in our favorite stories!

The meeting won’t be a regular book club; instead, we will have a free discussion about our favorite books that deal with trans* issues, feature trans* characters, and so on. You are free to bring books you would like to talk about, and maybe someone has also read them or is interested in them! We would like to exchange recommendations, share experiences, and just generally highlight how literature has shaped us. You are welcome to join even if you don’t have a book to bring. There will be plenty regardless!

There will be snacks and non-alcoholic drinks for everyone, and we are planning speed-dating conversation rounds to talk about your books, but there will also be time to have deeper discussions or simply read a little.

This meeting is open to everyone.

The meeting will be held in English or German, depending on the participants.

The Queer Centre is wheelchair accessible through a lift at the back entrance and there is an accessible toilet.
